Terms of use and purchase on SwissCarInfo
These terms and conditions govern the use of the SwissCarInfo website and the purchase of credits or subscriptions. By using our services, you accept these terms.
1 Purpose
These terms govern the use of the SwissCarInfo platform as well as the purchase of credits, subscriptions and related services. Access to certain features requires the purchase of credits or a subscription.
2 Services Offered
- Search and consultation of information on vehicles approved in Switzerland (free search, paid detailed data sheets).
- Additional tools: calculators, market statistics, regulatory guides.
- API and embeddable widget for business customers.
- Individual accounts and multi-user accounts (Enterprise plan).
3 Pricing and Payment
Prices are displayed in Swiss francs (CHF), plus Swiss VAT where applicable. The prices in force are displayed in real time on the pricing page and in the customer area.
Accepted payment methods:
- Mollie: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), TWINT, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Bank transfer for Enterprise billing
All payments are secure and encrypted.
4 Credits and Validity
Purchased credits are valid indefinitely.
The credit cost varies depending on the type of information consulted (technical sheet, detailed data, etc.).
Credits are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
5 Subscriptions
Several plans are offered (single purchase, monthly, annual, Enterprise); details are available in the customer area.
- Activation is immediate after payment.
- Renewal is automatic at the end of each period, unless cancelled from the account.
- Unused consultations are not carried over to the next cycle.
- Cancellable at any time from the account; the subscription remains active until the end of the current period.
- API quotas are separate from web consultation credits.
No minimum commitment.
6 Quota Overage (API)
If the included quota is exceeded, per-unit overage charges may apply, only with explicit opt-in by the user from the customer area.
- The user sets a monthly cap beyond which access is automatically suspended.
- The unit rate and cap in force are displayed in the customer area.
- Notifications are sent at the 80% and 100% thresholds of the quota and cap.
7 Refund Policy
Given the digital and instant nature of the services:
- Credits and subscriptions are non-refundable after purchase.
- No right of withdrawal applies pursuant to Art. 40e of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO). Digital content delivered immediately is excluded from the right of withdrawal.
- In the event of a confirmed technical issue, please contact us for a resolution.

8 Enterprise-Specific Terms (B2B)
For business customers billed in arrears:
- Acceptance of the Enterprise Terms at B2B registration (version, date and IP address recorded as evidence).
- Cancellation period of 7 calendar day(s) from the approval email. API requests consumed during this period are billed at the unit rate in force.
- Authority attestation within the meaning of Art. 39 CO.
- Monthly billing in arrears, payment within 10 days net.
- In case of late payment: successive reminders with fees, the schedule of which is displayed in the customer area; default interest pursuant to Art. 104 CO.
- Automatic suspension of the service at the last reminder until the account is settled.
9 Limitation of Liability
The data is provided for informational purposes only.
SwissCarInfo disclaims all liability for errors, omissions or outdated data. The information does not replace an official verification with the competent authorities.
10 Intellectual Property
The content of the website (design, text, logos, code) is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior written authorisation.
11 Changes to Terms
SwissCarInfo reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be informed of significant changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. In case of dispute, the courts of the Canton of Valais have sole jurisdiction.
