Swiss Highway Vignette 2026

Everything you need to know about the Swiss motorway vignette and the new electronic e-vignette

What is the highway vignette?

The Swiss motorway vignette is mandatory for driving on motorways and semi-motorways in Switzerland. It is valid for 14 months (from 1 December of the previous year to 31 January of the following year).

New: E-Vignette

Since August 2023, the electronic vignette (e-vignette) is available as an alternative to the sticker. It is linked to the vehicle's registration number.
