The Swiss Aircraft Registry
The Swiss aircraft registry is maintained by the BAZL (Bundesamt für Zivilluftfahrt), the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). It records all aircraft registered in Switzerland under the HB- prefix, assigned by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The registry covers aeroplanes, helicopters, gliders, balloons, airships, ultralight aircraft and large drones. Each entry contains the type, manufacturer, owner/operator, maximum take-off mass (MTOM), year of manufacture and ICAO hexadecimal code.
